HISTORY OF THE HOTEL
Since as far back as 1874, it has offered the most demanding of guests the best of hospitality in the true Palermo tradition. DESCRIPTION OF THE HOTEL
It is located in the heart of the city of Palermo, just a few steps from the Teatro Massimo. Rooms and suites with air conditioning, mini-bar, room service, telephone with direct outside line, television with remote control, satellite TV, pay TV, cable. The La Palmetta restaurant, opened towards the end of the 1800s when a salon in the Ingham-Whitakers' old Patrician residence was refurbished, offers the opportunity to savour creative Mediterranean cuisine. The Bar, furnished in Bordeaux velvet, is redolent with all the nineteenth-century charm of the famous novel Il Gattopardo (The Leopard). It is the perfect place to enjoy cocktails and drinks in a warm, refined atmosphere.
