 HISTORY OF THE VILLA
It is a stunning new five star deluxe hotel on Italy's famous Amalfi coast. The hotel is a 12th century Italian villa tucked away in the hill top village of Ravello perched high on the cliffs, 350 meters (1,000 ft.) above the sparkling editerranean and overlooking some of the coast's most picturesque fishing villages. Just as it opened its doors again as a new hotel in July 1997, so does its style, which embraces a firm commitment to friendly and extraordinary service. 
DESCRIPTION OF THE VILLA
Rossellinis restaurant, just awarded with very high ratings in all major Italian guides. Pino Lavarra, the Executive Chef after having worked at Le Manoir aux Quat 'Saisons in Oxford with Raymond Blanc went to run the renowned Grissini at the Hyatt Carlton Tower in London. He is back in Ravello with the goal to make of Rossellinis one of the finest Italian restaurants. The team is helped by the expertise of the Sous Chef Stefano Baiocco (Enoteca Pinchiorri, Alain Ducasse, Pierre Gagnaire) and the Sommelier Nando Papa (second best Italian Sommelier for 2001 at the "Oscar del Vino"). During the season, the restaurant is opened for dinner only, in one of the terraces looking down on the fishing boats 1,000 feet below! Bar - Caffé dell'Arte : special cocktails or unique selection of rare liqueurs, rhum and brandies. New swimming pool. The rooftop features a magnificent sun terrace with hydromassage plunge pools. Relax while looking at the sea and the wild, stunning mountain that falls so abruptly into it. Small, select parties: for lunch such as weddings or other special events, up to a maximum of 70 persons. For meetings of Excellence the Hotel offers a small conference room ideal for any kind of meetings (10/40 people) provided with: state of art A/V equipment, secretary, translating, hostess.
