DESCRIPTION OF THE ESTATE
The estate lies at the feet of the ancient town of Massa Marittima, embedded in the unspoiled and uncontaminated Region of Maremma. Five old country cottages built in a circle around a nineteenth century manor house have been converted into 18 flats. Great care was taken to ensure that nothing was lost of the charm and the typical features of the holding (stone facades, terracotta floors, exposed beams) yet at the same time it was equipped with the usual modern comforts. In addition the estate is equipped with two swimming pools, marked footpaths for trekking, a Restaurant specialized in Tuscan cuisine and also offers mountain bikes for hire. It is the ideal place to set off from one day trips to the most fascinating sights and tourist attractions of the region: Volterra, S.Gimignano, S.Galgano, Vetulonia and Populonia with its Etruscan
excavations.
