HISTORY OF THE VILLA
An eighteenth-century villa, belonged to a Venetian patriarch, it was the namesake family's favourite dwelling-place during the relax stays the family enjoyed in the immediate Venetian hinter-land: la "Riviera del Brenta". It is situated in Mirano, a nice little town in the province of Venice, just in the center of a grest system of land division, the "Graticolato Romano" (the lattice). Historically Mirano was first under the dominion of Padua, passing then under the one of Venice: as a result, in the neighbourhood of Mirano there are many historical buildings, mainly the Venetian Villas. Therefore, the origins of Mirano and its neighbouring areas represent a very interesting tourist itinerary, permitting to discover and appreciate the history, the art and the countryside of Riviera, simply using bicycles made available by the Hotel and following the tourist cycling routes marked by numerous signs.
DESCRIPTION OF THE VILLA
Recently restored, it is an elegant and refined building in a discret and pleasent atmosphere. It has all bedrooms and suites furnished with valuable items and forniture suitable for the Villa (such au the eighteenth-century venetian glass chandeliers), every room offers all conforts and services: fridge-bar, telephone, satellite.television and air conditioning.
Breakfast room. The Hotel is also equipped to satisfy the needs of modern business tourism, with ample space and a fax service. In the 18.000 square meter's beautiful park sourronding the building with many centuries-old trees, there is an equipped swimming pool and a Chalet accomodating up to 200 people, suitable for all kinds of events, such as ceremonies, banquets, meetins and open-air
parties.
