DAY 1 : FLORENCE
Arrival at Florence and transfer by private coach airport - hotel. Welcome "aperitivo" and Welcome Dinner with wines included. Overnight in 4* hotel.
DAY 2 : FLORENCE - PISA
Breakfast. In the morning sightseeing tour of Florence including the splendid Duomo, crowned with the magnificent Brunelleschi Dome and the Baptistry with its exquisite golden doors by Ghiberti, Giotto's Bell Tower, Town hall Square (Piazza della Signoria). In the afternoon a fascinating excursion to Pisa,the historic and old university town situated on the Arno River, visit of Piazza dei Miracoli, the leaning Tower, the cathedral and the Baptistry. Return to Florence. Dinner and overnight in hotel.
DAY 3 : FLORENCE - PADUA - VENICE
After breakfast, morning free to discover this "walking museum" or to do some shopping. Early afternoon departure for Padua, visit of the Basilica of St. Anthony, with its splendid works of art, including the largest bronze sculptures by Donatello. Continue toward Venice. Dinner and overnight in hotel.
DAY 4 : VENICE
Breakfast. Panoramic city tour of Venice: the Doge's Palace, the greatest civil building in the city, as it was once the seat of the Doge and his magistrative council, the Bridge of sighs that links the Palace to the ancient prisons. The tour continues with the visit of St. Mark's Square, the magnificent Basilica is a composite of many styles and periods: Byzantine, Romanesque, Gothic and Renaissance. The two bronze Moors on the clock tower and the bell tower, whose five distinct bells rang to summon Venetians and announce important events throughout the centuries. Afternoon at leisure. Dinner and overnight.
DAY 5 : VENICE - VERONA - LAKE GARDA
Breakfast. Departure to Verona: visit of the Roman Arena (this 1900 year old amphitheatre is still used today for opera and Ballet performances) and Juliet's house. Proceed to Lake Garda. Dinner and overnight.
DAY 6 : LAKE GARDA - MILAN
Breakfast. Departure to Milan : sightseeing of Milan including the Duomo (the best building of Gothic style we have in Italy, located in the very heart of the city), and La Scala Opera house. Afternoon at leisure for shopping. Dinner and overnight.
DAY 7 - DEPARTURE

Visit the beautiful Piazza del Duomo, the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore, Giotto's Bell Tower, the Baptistery of St. John, the Academy of Fine Arts Gallery housing the "David" by Michelangelo, and Santa Croce, the 13th century Franciscan church with Cimabue's famous crucifix. DAY 5: FLORENCE - PADUA - VENICE
Breakfast. Departure for Padua, visit the famous Cathedral of St. Anthony, guarded by Donatello's "Gattamelata". Continue on to Venice, and upon arrival guided walking tour of this unique city: the Piazza and Basilica of St. Mark, the Doge's Palace, the Bridge of Sighs and the Prisons. Then visit a glass factory to see the moulding of glass. Dinner and overnight.
DAY 6: VENICE - ROME

DAY 1 : ROME - SORRENTO
Upon arrival, first warm Italian welcome from our English-speaking tour director, who will accompany the group throughout the tour. On to South and along the way stop at the famous Abbey of Montecassino.
Continue on to the picturesque fishing town of Sorrento, our home for the next 2 nights. But before arrival, opportunity to see how the famous "Buffolos" cheese is made and meet with the local farmers who will offer a tasty sample. Welcome dinner and overnight.
DAY 2 : CAPRI - AMALFI COAST - SORRENTO
Breakfast. Excursion by boat to visit the Isle of Capri. Surrounded by cobalt-blue sea, it is considered one of the most beautiful islands in the world. Breakfast. Way through the scenic countryside to Rome. Along the way, visit of Pompeii's "City of the Dead", where time stopped in 79 A.D., when Mt. Vesuvius erupted, and the town and people were petrified in volcanic cinders. Then continue on to Rome. Overnight.

DAY 7 : GUBBIO - FLORENCE
Breakfast. On the way to Florence, visit of Gubbio, spread out over the steep slopes of Mt. Ingino. Ride through the beautiful Tuscan countryside to Florence, the "Cradle of the Renaissance", which is well known for its palaces, churches and art by Michelangelo, da Vinci, Raffaello. Once in Florence, stop at the Leather School for a private demonstration of the ancient art of gold leaf on leather. At dinner, sample of local cuisine in a typical Florentine "Trattoria". Overnight.
DAY 8 : FLORENCE
Breakfast. Visit of one of the great museums of the world, the Uffizi, home of glorious Renaissance art. From there, head to the spectacular Chianti area and visit of a local farm. Learning how olive oil and wine are made and delicious country lunch. Returning to Florence, visit of the city centre, including the Ponte Vecchio (the old bridge, with its shops and vendors). Overnight.
DAY 9 : PISA - VENICE
Breakfast. Visit of the Leaning Tower of Pisa. Travel through some of the most well-known scenery in the world-in rural Tuscany-before arriving in Venice. Evening stroll through the charming narrow streets one of the city and the open cafes in St. Mark's Square. Overnight.
DAY 10 : VENICE
After breakfast, walking tour of this fairy-tale city on water, with a visit to St. Mark's Square and its imposing Basilica and Doges' Palace. Afternoon free. Later, storybook ride in gondolas along the famous canals to the rhythms of the gondolier serenade. Overnight.
DAY 11 : MURANO & BURANO ISLANDS / VENICE
Breakfast. Motor over in a launch, one of Venice's famous vaporetti, to Murano Island and tour of a glass factory. Will be seen them creating delicate patterns and fabrics, as people on the island have for centuries. The women sell the lace at stalls at the port.
